Gourmet Muscle Shake: Turtle Almond Nut
* 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
* 1 cup egg whites
* 1 cup cold water
* 15 g almonds
* 1 tbsp fiber
* 2 scoops low carb chocolate metabolic drive
Nutritional Info
Calories – 530
Protein – 74g
Fat – 18g
Carbs – 19g
Sugar – 3g
Pro’s
Proteins – whey isolate, micellar casein, egg whites
The fats should also slow down the release of protein.
Almost all the carbs are fiberous.
Tastes great.
Easy to make.
This is a modified version of a turtle shake Dr. John Berardi gave me to try years ago.
They also kick ass, but are very easy to over do and would be very good for those gaining weight if they replace the water with heavy whipping cream and doubled the almonds and peanut butter. You’d have to look to be sure, but I think it would jump the calories up close to 400 or more, making it a 900 – 1000 calorie shake filled with a great protein blend and healthy fats.
